When you come to Symplicured with a health concern, every question we ask has a purpose. But what if our AI is already highly confident about what's going on after just a few questions? Should we keep asking all fifteen?

We don't think so. That's why we're introducing Adaptive Questioning — an intelligent system that monitors diagnostic confidence in real time and gives you control over your assessment pace.

How It Works

As you answer each question, our multi-provider AI engine runs a parallel inference process behind the scenes. It continuously evaluates the strength of the evidence you've provided, calculating a confidence score across potential conditions.

When confidence reaches a meaningful threshold:

1. An Early Insight card appears showing a brief summary of what our AI is seeing
2. Your confidence score is displayed so you know how strong the signal is
3. You choose what happens next — two clear options:
   • Continue for Better Accuracy: Keep answering questions to refine the assessment further. The AI continues asking up to the full set of questions for maximum precision
   • See Results Now: Jump straight to your detailed diagnosis report with the evidence gathered so far

This means someone with a classic presentation of, say, a migraine with aura could get meaningful results after 6-7 questions instead of 15 — saving time when the picture is already clear.

You Stay in Control

The most important design decision here is that we never auto-skip questions. The early insight card is a suggestion, not a shortcut forced upon you. If you want the most thorough assessment possible, just tap "Continue for Better Accuracy" and the full question flow proceeds exactly as before.

We believe health decisions should always be in your hands. Adaptive questioning simply gives you more information, sooner.

The Technology Behind It

Our inference engine runs in parallel with question generation, using a lightweight AI model that evaluates:

• Symptom patterns and their clinical significance
• Consistency of your answers with known condition profiles
• Demographic risk factors (age, gender, ethnicity)
• Severity and timeline indicators

All of this happens in under two seconds, with no added wait time for you.
